Midnight, December 31, 1989

Baron Maximilian Von Dread can't let the decade go. His OMEGA DEVICE, a doomsday bomb, goes off at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve. The world's governments are all at a fondue party. That leaves Colonel Buck Magnusson and the Super Havoc Squad.

Super Havoc Squad is a top-down run-and-gun in 16-bit pixel art. Fight your way round the world in a jeep, a tank or a chopper, or on foot, rescue the prisoners, and take down a string of ridiculous bosses before the clock strikes twelve.

Two of the squad's tanks firing on a giant enemy tank with three turrets and a skull on its front.
Two players, two tanks, one very large problem.

Drive it, then ditch it

A jeep, a tank, a dirt bike, a hovercraft and a gunship chopper, each with its own guns. Hop out any time and fight on foot, and when an enemy crew bails out, steal their ride.
